Position Description - This position includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities: Conduct door-to-door sales outreach to residential and commercial properties within assigned territory Identify and approach potential customers, introduce propane services, and explain the advantages of using propane for heating, cooking, and other energy needs Provide customers with accurate and detailed information about propane delivery plans, equipment options, pricing, and safety benefits Build rapport with homeowners and business owners to understand their energy needs and offer tailored propane solutions Qualify leads and capture customer information, scheduling follow-up meetings or appointments when necessary Demonstrate strong product knowledge and overcome objections to close sales effectively Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs set by your supervisors in writing Always maintain a professional and courteous attitude while engaging with customers Report daily activity, sales progress, and customer feedback to the Sales Supervisor Display working knowledge of ticket placing system Drive to and connected with potential customers for a minimum of 75% of the workday Remain current on industry developments and emerging trends Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints Work with Operations to schedule service work with customers Other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Clean background Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Previous outside sales experience preferred Proficiency in all Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills
