Community for Sustainable Energy is offering entry level jobs and internships working to raise public awareness of sustainable energy solutions, and organizing public support for sustainable energy policy and practices in northern Colorado. Direct experience is not required. We offer comprehensive training.

Qualifications include:

Passion for the wellbeing of Earth and humanity Confidence in your interpersonal communication skills Being a good student Desire to build a career helping people and planet Like being outside Job Duties may include: Learning about local energy issues and politics Communicating those issues to citizens in a motivational manner Building representative membership and grassroots strength Representing CforSE members at City council meetings Building skills to help you advance your career in activism Schedule is 2-9pm, Monday through Friday. Three days per week internship available to qualified students. We run the internship similar to a college class (except instead of paying, you get paid!). The first 90 minutes of the day is a lecture/training/discussion time, followed by 4.5 hour lab, followed by an hour recap. There is homework reading and practice assignments. The better you do in class, the more you get paid.
