The Leasing Specialist prospects for and converts leads, identifies each client's needs, selects and shows homes, provides market expertise, negotiates lease terms, and oversees the client experience through a signed lease. RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead generation, follow-up, and conversion Prequalify potential renters/tenants Conduct Market Education Sessions to define client needs Conduct online showings to narrow properties before in-person tours Set up MLS searches and send properties Identify homes that best meet clients' needs and wants Schedule and conduct in-person showings Provide insight into properties, neighborhoods, buildings, and the market Guide clients through applications and required documentation Negotiate lease terms on behalf of clients Follow up through application acceptance Coordinate rent, security deposits, and fees when needed Relay rental terms and fully signed leases to the Transaction Coordinator for closing Assist with landlord listings using the 1CORNER process Develop expert knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods, rental buildings, and inventory Maintain the 1CORNER rental property list and managed-building relationships Communicate promptly with Coordinators and follow team systems and processes Train with and shadow Buyer Agents and attend team and market-center training Attend weekly team meetings and huddles

COMPENSATION 100
% commission-based. Unlike many commission-only opportunities, you aren't starting at zero. You'll step into an established rental business with existing clients, landlord relationships, inventory, team-generated opportunities, proven systems, and support already in place. We're looking for someone who wants to take that foundation, run with it, and build something much bigger. You don't have to be the most experienced person in the room. But we'd love it if you were the hungriest.
