Roles and Responsibilities The Environmental and Energy Specialist position is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from various sources, preparing visual representations, and conducting assessments and investigations to identify and address potential environmental hazards. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards by following established policies, assisting with ISO documentation, and managing waste shipments & related documentation. Additionally, the specialist communicates with internal departments and external stakeholders to promote energy efficiency, environmental objectives, and implement cost-effective solutions for environmental issues. Duties

• E&E Data Collection and Management.

Compile and organize environmental and energy data from various sources (Including but not limited to Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 Emissions). Must be able to prepare charts, tables using Microsoft office and other internal tools. Managing Management of Change process that's impacting HSE. Managing the EMS tracker, SDS master tracker and other environmental trackers.

• Perform Environmental Aspect Impact Assessment, Incident investigation as needed.

Must be able to conduct inspections and audits as needed to identify potential environmental hazards and recommend corrective action. Perform trainings to New Hire and updating HSE training material as needed. Willing to complete new certifications as needed. Create One Point Lessons & issue Purchase Orders as needed.

• Drive for forklift for waste movement when needed. Operate equipment and dump silo waste (such as sand, dust) into trucks as needed. Perform LOTO on Equipment as needed.
• Communicate with internal departments to follow-up on energy efficiency projects and able to perform energy calculations and analysis as needed.

Internal employee communication about the environmental and energy targets, objectives & environmental emergencies. Identifying effective solutions for environmental issues. Communication with suppliers, vendors, and contractors regarding environmental and energy related projects.

• Must be able to collect sample and follow chain of custody procedures to perform shipment. Manage waste shipment scheduling. Manage and organize documentation including but not limited to manifests, regulatory reports, lab test results, waste profiles.
• Follow E2MS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Assist the E&E Manager with ISO 14001 and

ISO 50001

Documentation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Energy or a related field; advances degree preferred.
• Proven experience in environmental consulting or project engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement in Environmental practices.
• Able to drive forklift when needed.
• Able to fill trucks with silo waste.
• DOT and RCRA Haz-waste training completed or willing to complete.
