Start Date:
Aug 31 Insight Global is seeking an Energy Advisor on behalf of a leading utility organization. This individual will serve as a trusted resource for customers seeking guidance on energy efficiency, conservation programs, renewable energy options, and utility cost savings. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, analytical, and passionate about helping individuals and businesses better understand their energy usage. This role combines customer service, problem-solving, data analysis, and community engagement to support energy efficiency program participation and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Consult directly with customers to identify opportunities for reducing energy consumption and lowering utility costs. Analyze customer energy usage patterns and billing information to identify usage trends and recommend energy-saving solutions. Investigate high-bill concerns and provide actionable recommendations based on customer-specific energy data. Promote energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable energy programs. Assist customers with program enrollment and participation processes. Support outreach and marketing initiatives to drive awareness and participation in energy-related programs. Represent the organization at community events, trade shows, workshops, fairs, and educational forums. Deliver presentations and educational content to businesses, community groups, and customers. Collaborate cross-functionally while independently resolving routine customer inquiries and concerns. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of customer service, customer support, account management, or public-facing experience. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze customer information and identify solutions. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment. Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends to support community outreach events. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Utility industry experience. Knowledge of energy efficiency, conservation, renewable energy programs, or sustainability initiatives. Understanding of residential or commercial energy systems. Knowledge of energy regulations, standards, and codes. Experience with customer energy analysis tools or utility platforms. Community outreach, education, or public presentation experience.
Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
