As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Medical Device Sales Representative with a proven track record of selling and supporting products in the operating room. This position is specifically intended for candidates with at least 2 years of medical device sales experience in an OR/surgical environment. Previous orthopedic experience is not required. We are interested in accomplished medical device sales professionals across surgical specialties who understand the demands of the operating room, know how to build strong surgeon relationships, and have demonstrated the ability to grow business in a competitive market. Opportunities may be available across several orthopedic specialties, including Sports Medicine, Foot & Ankle/Trauma, Arthroplasty, and more. Throughout the interview process, we will evaluate your experience and strengths to determine the specialty, team, and territory that best align with your background and our current business needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop, manage, and grow relationships with surgeons, operating room staff, healthcare professionals, and key accounts throughout your territory. Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and converting competitive business. Provide knowledgeable clinical and technical support before, during, and after surgical procedures. Educate surgeons and OR teams on Arthrex products, instrumentation, technology, and surgical techniques. Develop a comprehensive understanding of your territory, including customers, accounts, competitive activity, and opportunities for growth. Build strategic account plans and execute sales strategies to achieve individual, territory, and team goals. Maintain a high level of preparation and professionalism while supporting cases in the operating room. Collaborate with teammates to ensure exceptional customer service and reliable case coverage. Participate in call schedules and respond to customer and surgical needs outside traditional business hours when necessary. Continuously develop your knowledge of Arthrex products, procedures, and surgical techniques through ongoing education and handson training.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of medical device sales experience with direct experience selling and supporting products in the operating room. Demonstrated history of sales performance and achieving or exceeding sales goals. Proven experience developing and maintaining relationships with surgeons and other key clinical stakeholders. Experience growing existing accounts and developing new business in a competitive sales environment. Strong understanding of operating room protocols, expectations, and professional standards. Experience providing clinical and technical support during surgical procedures. Ability to confidently communicate complex product and procedural information to surgeons and healthcare professionals. Ability to manage a territory, prioritize opportunities, and operate with a high level of independence and accountability. Flexibility to accommodate early mornings, evenings, call responsibilities, and changing surgical schedules. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a highly collaborative sales team. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling surgical products, implants, capital equipment, biologics, or other medical devices used within the operating room. Existing experience calling on surgeons and hospital or ambulatory surgery center accounts. Orthopedic or musculoskeletal medical device experience. Experience successfully converting competitive accounts or introducing new technologies within an established territory. Bachelor's degree. Orthopedic sales experience is not required. Candidates with successful medical device sales experience in other surgical specialties are encouraged to apply if they meet the OR sales experience requirement.
