Job Description

Job Summary:
Serves as the primary contact point for questions or inquiries related to products available through the Care Management Organization. Must have active MS Insurance Producer License for Accident & Health/Life in order to sell all applicable products including Medicare Supplemental Plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, ACA Health Insurance Marketplace Plans, Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, and other plans offered by CMO. Must maintain State Insurance License to sell Health Insurance products. Requires the highest level of customer service. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with customers, family members, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Requires some administrative duties including the creation of monthly reports (Microsoft Word & Excel), answering telephones, and scheduling appointments. Requires ability to travel and present educational seminars. Assists the Director of Insurance Operations as necessary and reports to the Director of Insurance Operations.
Performance Expectations:
Demonstrates technical aptitude necessary to utilize the computer as necessary to fulfill requirements of job. Demonstrates aptitude to understand Insurance products and ability to explain products to potential customers. Demonstrates aptitude to sell Insurance products and submit applications to appropriate carriers. Demonstrates aptitude to present Educational Seminars to prospective customers.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills Bachelor degree preferred. Prior insurance sales or related product sales experience required. Prior experience with public speaking preferred.
Work Experience:
Previous experience in dealing with the general public is required. Previous experience in the healthcare field is preferred. Certification/Licensure-DUE
UPON HIRE
Licensed to sell Life and Accident/Health Insurance in the State of Mississippi.

Position requires a high degree of professionalism, customer service, accuracy, courtesy, tact, diplomacy, self-direction, and must have the ability to present a positive image. Must have excellent organizational skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
