Guidance Specialist RESET Mind & Body - 1.0 Phoenix, AZ Job Details Part-time $16 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Customer communication Interpersonal skills Fitness sales Attention to detail Relationship building
Stocking Full Job Description Our Mission:
To Heal The Mind & Body At RESET, we believe recovery isn't a luxury — it's essential. We help people reduce stress, improve sleep, ease pain, and perform better through science-backed modalities including cold plunge, infrared sauna, red light therapy, compression, and warm water therapy. Community is at the heart of everything we do. When our members feel better, they show up better in every part of life. Guidance Specialists are the people who make that happen. Our Values (The RESET Standard) Everything we do is driven by seven values: Community — We build spaces where everyone feels welcome and supported. Genuine Connection — Members are seen, known, and cared for. Unreasonable Hospitality — We go beyond expectations, every time. Always Improving — We learn, refine, and grow — individually and as a brand. Lead By Example — We model the energy, professionalism, and standards we expect. Details Matter — Cleanliness, precision, consistency, and follow-through define us. We Own — We take ownership of results, challenges, and commitments. The Role The Guidance Specialist is the face of the studio. You are the first person a member sees when they walk in, and the reason they come back. You will guide first-time experiences, build real relationships, maintain a studio environment that reflects our standards, and help members feel confident taking the next step in their wellness journey. This is not a passive customer service role. You will be expected to have genuine conversations, understand what a member is looking for, and confidently recommend the membership or session plan that fits their life. That is the job, and we want people who are excited about it, not people who tolerate it. Read This Before You Apply This role includes a sales component, and we want to be upfront about that. You will earn commission on every membership and session pack you sell. That means you will be having conversations with members about what they need, making recommendations, and asking them to invest in themselves. If that sounds uncomfortable, this is probably not the right fit. We are also looking for people who genuinely care about wellness and the people who walk through the door. This is not a job you can do well from behind a desk. You have to be present, warm, and genuinely interested in the people you are serving. You may be a great fit if: ✓ You enjoy talking to people and building real connections, not just processing transactions. ✓ You are comfortable recommending a product or plan you genuinely believe in. ✓ You take pride in the details — a clean studio, a well-stocked locker room, a perfectly set-up session. ✓ You are reliable and take ownership of your shifts without being managed every step of the way. ✓ You are curious about wellness, recovery, and what helps people feel better. You are probably not a fit if: ✗ You are uncomfortable asking for a sale or recommending a membership. ✗ You prefer to stay in the background and avoid member interaction. ✗ You need constant direction to stay productive during a shift. ✗ Details and cleanliness feel like someone else's job. What You'll Be Doing Member Experience & Genuine Connection Greet every member by name and create a welcoming, calm arrival experience. Guide first-time visitors through the full RESET Method — compression, infrared sauna, cold plunge, warm water, and red light therapy — with confidence and warmth. Build real relationships with members over time. Know their goals, remember their name, and follow up on things that matter to them. Handle questions, concerns, and feedback with care and ownership. Membership Sales & Session Bookings Have honest, confident conversations about memberships and session packs and recommend the plan that genuinely fits the member's life. Book members into their next session before they leave the studio, every time. Earn commission on every membership and session pack sold during your shift. Follow up with leads and first-time visitors to support their conversion to membership. Modality Knowledge & Education Develop a deep, fluent understanding of all five RESET modalities and the science behind each one. Educate members on the benefits of each stop in the sequence and why the order matters. Coach members through the cold plunge with encouragement and practical breathing guidance. Stay curious and informed about wellness and recovery best practices. Studio Standards & Environment Maintain a clean, organized, visually elevated studio throughout every shift. Clean and sanitize equipment and recovery spaces consistently. Catch and correct the details before members notice them. Uphold the RESET Standard — not because someone is watching, but because it matters. Community & Culture Support in-studio events, promotions, and community initiatives. Encourage members to connect with each other and with the RESET community. Contribute to a team culture built around the seven RESET values. What You'll Need to Succeed Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred. Comfort with sales conversations and making confident recommendations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills — warm, clear, and genuine. Reliable and detail-oriented, with a high standard for your own work. Passion for wellness, recovery, and helping people feel better. Ability to work a consistent part-time schedule including weekends.
