Part-Time Box Office Representative with Opportunity for Advancement. Actors' Playhouse, a regional non-profit theatre organization, is seeking a part-time customer service representative who is highly motivated, outgoing, and congenial with basic computer and communication skills. We are looking for a representative with full time and part-time availability. This is a great opportunity for students and theatre lovers. Box Office Representatives are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and solution to ticketing, subscriptions, parking, dining, and other related services by the visitors of Actors' Playhouse. The associate will have the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes day and evening hours as well as weekends and some holidays during theatre productions & events. As part of the front of house team, responsibilities would include: Ticket Sales Season Subscription Sales Concessions Services at the Bacardi Bar Responding to customer inquiries and ticket related requests in person, by telephone, and online. Ability to listen and understand the customer's needs, and respond quickly, accurately, and politely. Demonstrate empathy for the client and a sense of urgency to assist in resolving their concerns. Ability to handle difficult situations. Act as an ambassador for the Playhouse. Work closely with various departments, including fund-raising / marketing, and creating an atmosphere of service excellence.

Desired Experience:

Prior customer service experience Experience in performing arts sector preferred Strong personal interest in the performing arts Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred, but not necessary) Bartending experience is a plus
