The Connection, a community-based nonprofit organization in Summit, NJ, is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Part-Time Member Services Representative to join our team. This role serves as the first point of contact for members, guests, and program participants while supporting daily front desk operations. As part of the Member Services team, you will work as a receptionist, registrar, and cashier while delivering excellent customer service and providing information regarding programs, memberships, and facility services. Responsibilities Welcome and assist members, guests, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner Answer phones and respond to general inquiries Process program registrations, memberships, and payments Maintain accurate member records and daily transactions Provide information about programs, schedules, and facility usage Support daily front desk and administrative operations Assist with problem-solving and member concerns as needed Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and professional demeanor Prior customer service experience required Experience in a nonprofit, community center, or fitness environment preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or comparable business productivity software Willingness to learn Daxko Operations membership management software Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Hours We are currently seeking coverage for the following shifts:

Friday:

5:45 AM-12:00

PM Saturday & Sunday:

12:00 PM-5:15 PM Availability for one or more of these shifts may be considered.

Compensation Starting rate:
