Job Description

Fundraising Support Specialist - Hybrid Are you passionate about helping people and making a difference? We're seeking a Fundraising Support Specialist to support participants involved in a nationwide fundraising campaign benefiting childhood cancer research. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting ameaningful cause. What You'll Do As a Fundraising Support Specialist, you'll serve as a key point of contact for fundraising participants, helping ensure they have a positive and successful experience.
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct outbound calls to fundraising participants to thank them for their involvement and support. Provide high level support to 100+ participants daily. Provide event and program support, answer questions, and offer guidance. Help participants maximize their fundraising efforts and achieve their goals. Respond to inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy. Collect participant feedback and document interactions. Accept donations over the phone and accurately process donor information. Enter and maintain participant and donation records within company systems. Utilize participant management and outbound calling software.
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience: Call center experience preferred Fundraising, nonprofit, or volunteer experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams Professional phone presence and excellent customer service skills Ability to remain calm and solution-focused during challenging situations Schedule & Work Environment Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM 30 hours per week Hybrid schedule with 2 in-office days per week Compensation & Assignment Details $20.00/hour Temporary assignment lasting approximately 4 weeks Start date is 9/14 Equipment provided, including laptop, monitors, headset, mouse, keyboard, and docking station All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
