Job Description

Westchester County's largest and most prestigious business membership organization is adding to our team and growing our organization. We are a non-profit organization offering aggressive compensation and benefit packages along with fantastic career development. The Membership Coordinator will assist in executing the core membership programs of the organization. This role reports directly to Vice President of Membership & Programs and indirectly to the BCW's President and CEO and COO.
Key Responsibilities:
Activate new memberships. Assist on 35+ membership-related events per year including planning and execution. Plan and coordinate maintain RSVP lists, prep and execution of events. Meet new and onboard new members either virtually or in the BCW office. Troubleshoot membership requests, as necessary. Maintain council membership lists. Assist in council meeting/member programming, and invitations. Oversee and maintain monthly membership renewal outreach/aging reports. Assist with Ambassador assignments and meetings/updating Ambassador assignment spreadsheets. Analyze membership activity by reviewing quarterly reports to identify members who are not participating in BCW programs. Manage membership database and ensure accurate and up-to-date member information. Assists on the planning and coordination of the yearly membership directory. Represent the Council at several planned monthly events in Westchester. Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain members. Handle prospective member questions and provide information on value of membership. Respond to member inquiries and provide excellent customer service. When Vice President has an urgent commitment, serve as host of events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Customer Service/Sales experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to engage others in social settings and speak in front of large groups. Relationship management
Work Environment:
In office four days per week/remote one day per week. Occasional local travel is required. Extra hours required throughout the year attending early morning or evening events.
Pay:
$27.88 - $28.84 per hour
