Full Job Description Description:
About Bouldering Project Bouldering Project is more than a climbing gym—we're a community. We're driven by a shared belief: that climbing, movement, and connection should be accessible to everyone. From first-timers to seasoned climbers, families to fitness enthusiasts, and our own teammates—we create inclusive, inspiring spaces where people move, grow, and belong. With world-class climbing, yoga and fitness offerings, and welcoming community spaces, we're proud to serve nine markets across the U.S.—and we're just getting started. About the Role The Membership Ambassador is all about turning great first experiences into lasting ones. When someone walks through our doors for the first time—whether they're on a guest pass, trying a day pass, or just curious about what we're about—this role makes sure they feel genuinely welcomed and leave knowing there's a home for them here. This isn't a traditional sales role. It's about building real relationships with prospective members, helping people find the membership that fits their life, and making sure our Operations Specialists feel confident having those same conversations every day. The Membership Ambassador is embedded in their assigned multi-gym market and plays a key part in shaping how Bouldering Project grows—locally and nationally. What You'll Do Job Duties may include, but are not limited to: Member Engagement & Conversion Welcome and engage prospective members — especially first-time visitors and guest pass holders — and help them find a membership that fits their life. Follow up through phone, text, and email, schedule facility visits, and guide people through their options until they find their home at Bouldering Project. Sales Process & CRM Adoption Use SalesHub (our CRM) to track prospective member relationships, manage follow-ups, and keep the membership pipeline organized. Help refine workflows and identify opportunities to improve how we capture interest and convert it into membership. Membership Education & Coaching Partner with Operations Specialists to build their confidence and consistency in membership conversations with guests. Model great conversations on the floor so your teammates can learn by watching and doing — this role makes the whole team better. Market Growth Support Work with gym leadership to spot and act on opportunities that support local membership growth. Bring curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset to how the MSP gyms welcome and convert new members. Reporting & Insights Track conversion trends and share what you're learning with the revenue team and local leadership.
