Oversee delivery logistics, including route planning, commercial truck driving, and automobile transportation to ensure timely service. Conduct sales activities such as upselling additional menu items or services to maximize revenue opportunities. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during route driving and vehicle operation. Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when setting up event spaces or transporting catering supplies and equipment. Maintain organizational records related to orders, deliveries, billing, and client preferences for efficient operations. Qualifications Proven experience in retail store environments or catering services with strong customer relationship building skills. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of pricing strategies, math skills for calculations, and basic financial understanding. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Familiarity with merchandising techniques and organizational skills for managing multiple catering events simultaneously.
