GUN COUNTER COORDINATOR
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor on duty.Classification:
Non-Exempt / Hourly, Full-TimeJOB SUMMARY
To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company & ATF regulations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
: Minimum Age requirement is 21 years old. Illinois residents-must carry a valid Firearm Owners Identification [F.O.I.D.] card and Missouri/Iowa residents-must have a valid Driver's License. Follow all Firearm Sale Procedures & ATF regulations, which includes the 4473 Form. Assist customers and inform them of product knowledge and special-order requests. Operate handheld Telxon. Follow Company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads. Authorize & approve the final transfer of weapons directly to customers. Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention & safety procedures. Attend store and job-related meetings. Required on-line job training available on our Outfitters website. Communicate effectively with Customers, Management, and all store employees. Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines. Operate cash registers and assist with customer carry outs. Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able to lift up to and including 50 lbs. Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
: Complete special projects directed by management and additional responsibilities may be assigned throughout the store at any given time. Other duties and responsibilities that may be required to meet the needs of the business.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
