In this energetic role, you will be responsible for managing vending machine inventory, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the appearance and functionality of vending units across designated routes. Your proactive approach will help deliver a seamless experience for customers while supporting sales growth and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of vending machines to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness. Replenish stock, restock products, and perform pricing adjustments to maximize sales opportunities. Perform heavy lifting to load and unload vending supplies and equipment safely. Drive company vehicles along assigned routes, adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws. Engage with customers courteously, addressing questions or concerns about products or machine issues. Implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and upselling opportunities. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, route logs, and maintenance activities using organizational skills. Collaborate with team members to coordinate route schedules and ensure timely servicing of machines. Experience Prior experience in commercial driving or route driving is highly desirable. Strong math skills for pricing adjustments and inventory management. Customer service experience demonstrating excellent communication skills. Knowledge of merchandising, sales techniques, and upselling strategies. Physical ability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks regularly. Familiarity with organizational tools for route planning and record keeping. Military background is a plus, especially if it involved logistics or operational roles involving driving or equipment handling.
