Company Overview Griffin Beverage is a dynamic and longstanding beverage distribution company with a rich history of growth and community involvement. Since its inception, the company has expanded its product offerings and market coverage, serving a diverse range of brands including soft drinks, beers, wines, waters, and snacks across multiple regions. Griffin Beverage is currently looking for a part time Merchandiser for Manistique and surrounding area to provide point-of-purchase and shelf management services. Merchandisers stock beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages in our highest volume retail accounts. Merchandisers make sure product is placed in the correct location and all product is rotated to ensure freshness. If required, merchandisers make sure product is priced in accordance with State of Michigan regulations. Merchandisers will also build displays to maximize customer interest and sales events. At larger accounts, backroom overstock needs to be organized. Merchandisers will use their own vehicle to travel from stop to stop, typically working in a territory near their home.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be able to lift 40+ lbs. repeatedly throughout a working shift (5-8 hrs.). They must also possess a valid State of Michigan driver's license and have a good driving record. Upon hire, a drug screen/physical will have to be completed at a clinic of our choice. Must be able to work 20-29 hours per week. Work hours are flexible. Merchandisers' schedules vary, but evenings, weekends, and holidays can be expected.
