Driver's License Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Delivery Assistant will assist in merchandising all stops as directed, provide customers with friendly service, and maintain a constant professional image. Assistants will drive a company vehicle and must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

in everything we do. Report to the plant each day and either drive a company vehicle to merchandise stores or ride with delivery drivers to assist with delivery of product. Go to assigned stores and merchandise the complete account. Push and pull a fully loaded cart of product. Work in a fast-paced continuous lifting environment. Reporting to work at scheduled starting time in proper uniform and properly groomed. Stock the drink isle, front end coolers, end caps and all displays. Pick up all trash. Cleaning racks, coolers, vendors, and any other equipment or areas where products are located. Let the store manager know you have completed the tasks before leaving the store. Working on the backroom stock and rotating product. Put all pods and pallets into your vehicle. Don't leave any pods/pallets in store without supervisor approval. Go to all assigned accounts per supervisor instructions. After all assigned accounts have been completed, return to the plant, and place any pods and pallets in their assigned location. Fill vehicle with gas and return it to the proper parking location.
Physical Demands:
Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently. Able to push/pull a cart weighing up to 260 pounds. Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Drive a vehicle and enter and exit vehicle multiple times throughout the shift.
Work Environment:
Tolerate working in cold temperatures as low as 35 degrees frequently. Work both indoors and outside. Exposed to hot/cold temperatures and rain and windy conditions. Valid driver's license and approved driving record. Ability to operate ordering and tracking electronic devices. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and managers.
