Kisco, Yonkers, Croton on the Hudson, Elmsford, Tuckahoe, Thornwood, Garnerville Responsibilities Travel between multiple retail stores using your personal vehicle to perform merchandising tasks efficiently. Set up and maintain attractive product displays using planograms and schematics to optimize sales potential. Implement visual design strategies, including remodeling and interior design adjustments, to enhance store aesthetics. Stock shelves accurately, manage inventory control, and ensure proper pricing and signage are in place. Conduct store management duties such as cleaning, organizing stock areas, and maintaining overall store cleanliness. Provide excellent customer service by assisting store staff with merchandising needs and answering questions about products. Use POS systems for inventory updates, cash handling, and sales transactions when necessary. Requirements Must have a reliable vehicle with valid insurance to travel between stores. Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or merchandising environments is preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating visual displays or promotional materials. Strong knowledge of merchandising principles including planograms, schematics, and visual design techniques. Experience with store management tasks such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and POS systems. Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills for multitasking across multiple locations. Ability to train and develop team members or store staff on merchandising standards and procedures. Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases effectively.
