Job Description
Summary:
Schedule:
T-F (3 Days) and 1 Weekend Day (Four 10 Hour Shifts) Responsible for building and maintaining off-premise product displays including appearance and rotation. Works under the supervision of the department managers and/or team leaders. Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation): Communicates with storeowner or manager for any specific instructions of merchandise desired while promoting a positive relationship with store management. Displays merchandise to satisfy customer's needs, emphasizes selling points such as quality and quantity. Places new merchandise on display. Organizes customers back room to be neat, clean, and to customers' satisfaction. Repackages any damaged packages and replace on shelf or cooler for customer. Monitors shelf tag- current up to date- sale tags up on Sundays. Takes inventory of stock and reports low volumes and out of stock situations. Assists with resets as needed. Maintain current and themed P.O.S. to ensure maximum account coverage. Adheres to all standards in sales manual (rotation etc.). Work as a team with delivery drivers and Sales Representatives to provide best possible customer service to all clients. Successfully complete all safety and job skill training per Department Managers satisfactionQualifications:
Education and/orExperience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Language Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software; Internet software; order processing systems.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver's license. Must have reliable transportation throughout work day.Other Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills and people skills in order to be able to respond to any situation. Must be at least 18 years of age.Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 250 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Employee is required to frequently work in a refrigerated atmosphere. Travels to various client accounts; such as, convenient stores, grocery stores, bars, and restaurants.Benefits
