Job Description
Job Summary Join our growing supermarket team as a Merchandising Assistant, where your accuracy, organization, and commitment to quality will directly support our store's daily operations. In this essential role, you will help ensure products are correctly priced, properly stocked, and attractively displayed, creating a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer. Your attention to detail and reliability will play a key part in maintaining efficient inventory flow and strong merchandising standards. Responsibilities Update pricing based on supplier cost changes and store pricing guidelines Enter inventory by verifying shipments, recording quantities, and maintaining accurate stock levels Create promotional signage including price tags, sale signs, and event display materials Maintain SKU accuracy by ensuring product information is complete and up to date Support basic merchandising through shelf organization, product rotation, and clean presentation Assist with general store operations as needed to maintain a well‑run retail environment Lift and move merchandise up to 30-40 lbs as part of stocking and replenishment duties Experience & Qualifications Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills Prior retail or inventory experience preferred but not required Familiarity with POS/ERP systems is a plus Ability to lift 30-40 lbs safely High school diploma required; college degree in business, marketing, or design preferred OPT candidates welcome Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethics Join Us Become part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining excellent merchandising standards and delivering a smooth, pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
