The Senior Planner, Bath & Body Works International, contributes to driving sales, inventory efficiency, and profitability across international franchise markets. This role works with franchise partners and cross-functional collaborators to develop financial plans. It controls open-to-buy, analyzes risks and opportunities, and provides insights that support strategic decisions and effective inventory management. Responsibilities
- Lead sales, inventory, and open-to-buy for assigned international franchise partners to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Lead seasonal assortment buy planning, ensuring financial targets, partner needs, and inventory strategies are aligned.
- Analyze sales trends, inventory position, and business performance to identify risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Influence franchise partners on inventory management guidelines, sales opportunities, and mitigation strategies for business risks.
- Prepare and communicate business insights, risks, and opportunities for weekly partner meetings and monthly Merchandise Planning Committee reviews.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Allocation, Commercial Managers, Merchandising, Finance, and franchise partner teams.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for Merchandise Planners, supporting capability building and planning excellence across the team. Qualifications
- 5+ years of merchandise planning, demand planning, inventory planning, replenishment, or retail experience related.
- International retail or franchise partner experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to convert data into clear insights, suggestions, and action plans.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in an environment with tight deadlines and evolving business needs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the capacity to sway partners and articulate business suggestions effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively within cross-functional and global teams.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, enterprise data warehouse tools, and the capability to adjust to franchise partner systems.
- Availability to participate in meetings outside typical business hours to support partners across international time zones. Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, Retail Studies, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
