Job Description
A growing e-commerce and consumer products organization is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth across major retail marketplace accounts while partnering closely with merchandising, production, design, and operations teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Buyer, Associate Merchant, or e-commerce professional with 3-4+ years of experience who is ready to step into greater business ownership, manage key account performance, and use data-driven insights to influence assortment strategy, sales growth, and overall business results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position pays $70-$80k per year! Required Skills & Experience 3 to 4+ years of experience in retail, merchandising, buying, e-commerce account management, or a related field Background as an Associate Buyer, Associate Merchant, E-commerce Merchandiser, or similar role preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, and data analysis Experience analyzing sales trends, pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and product performance Ability to forecast sales, build budgets, and support business planning activities Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including merchandising, production, design, and operations Strong communication and relationship management skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred Experience supporting e-commerce retail operations and online marketplaces required Desired Skills & Experience Power BI experience (a plus) Experience working with major retailers such as Target, Walmart, Amazon, or similar marketplace environments Exposure to licensing, branded products, or consumer goods programs Experience with assortment planning and category management Pricing and margin management experience Sales forecasting and financial analysis expertise Advanced Excel functions including lookups, dashboard creation, and reporting automation Key responsibilities include: Own and grow established retail and marketplace accounts Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance Build forecasts and identify opportunities for revenue growth Monitor competitive trends, pricing strategies, and consumer behavior Evaluate category and licensing performance and recommend actions Partner with internal stakeholders to optimize product assortments Collaborate with external retail partners to increase category performance Manage and support one Operations Specialist Influence strategic decisions through insights and data-driven recommendations Help achieve company sales objectives across assigned accounts
