Duration:

11 Months Contract We are seeking an experienced and consumer-obsessed Lead Merchant

• Men's Sportswear Footwear to support high-visibility merchandising initiatives within North America Sportswear.

This role will focus on driving assortment strategy, franchise management, trend forecasting, and merchandising analysis across key footwear categories including Court Classics, Retro, Air Max, and Look of Running. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of consumer insights, sneaker culture, trend forecasting, and data-driven merchandising strategy . Key Responsibilities ? Lead merchandising strategy and franchise management for Men's Sportswear Footwear categories across North America ? Analyze sales performance, marketplace trends, and consumer insights to identify future product opportunities ? Forecast demand and support assortment and quantity planning initiatives ? Research emerging fashion, sneaker, and cultural trends influencing the marketplace ? Manage seasonal merchandising tools, assortments, and line plans ? Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, Product Innovation, and business teams ? Present assortment strategies and business insights to leadership stakeholders ? Drive franchise growth through strong storytelling, consumer understanding, and marketplace expertise ? Support key footwear franchise strategies aligned with business and consumer priorities Required Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field ? 5+ years of experience in Merchandising, Buying, Retail, Product Management, Marketplace, or related functions ? Strong merchandising analytics and trend forecasting experience ? Deep understanding of sneaker culture, consumer trends, and the sportswear marketplace ? Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills ? Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment ? Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications ? Experience within footwear and lifestyle apparel categories ? Experience within the athletic/sportswear industry ? Understanding of North America retail and marketplace dynamics ? Experience supporting franchise strategies, innovation projects, or new concepts
