At United Salad Co. is one of the area's largest family-owned distributors of fresh produce, grocery and foodservice products across the Pacific Northwest region. We distribute produce to national and independent grocers, restaurants, schools and other institutions from local farmers and growers across the globe. We're currently seeking a Produce Merchandiser to support our growing operation in Boise, ID. Travel to various store locations across your assigned territory to manage and merchandise produce departments. Partner with produce directors, store managers, and other merchandisers to ensure displays are visually appealing, properly stocked, and meet handling/storage standards. Set up produce displays, perform resets, and support tent sale events. Effectively communicate with internal teams (sales, operations) to align store-level execution with company objectives. Create excitement in stores through creative and strategic merchandising. Occasional overnight travel required (average 5-10 times per month). Must be flexible to work early mornings, weekends, and some evenings as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of produce experience preferred 1+ year of produce management experience ideal Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, independent, and a team player Passion for fresh produce and quality presentation Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Comfortable driving long distances and working on the road Physically capable of bending, twisting, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Position is contingent upon a successful background check, an acceptable motor vehicle records check and ability to pass a drug screen, including THC.
