Brandywine Lighting Gallery is a premier lighting retailer in North Wilmington dedicated to providing our customers with exceptional service and a wide selection of high-quality lighting fixtures. We are seeking a friendly and motivated Lighting Sales Manager / Retail Merchandiser to join our team and help our customers illuminate their spaces beautifully. This includes building displays, resetting and rotating products, and tracking inventory to ensure the store supplies maximize sales opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a welcoming and professional manner. Provide knowledgeable information about various lighting fixtures, styles, and functionalities. Guide customers through our product selection, offering recommendations and solutions. With the help of co-workers, learn all aspects of lighting. Assist customers with placing orders, processing payments, and arranging for delivery or pick-up. Help to maintain a visually appealing and organized showroom, ensuring products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, new arrivals, and industry trends. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.

Qualification:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must genuinely enjoy interacting with people. Some previous sales/merchandiser/manager experience is required, preferable in a retail environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a customer-focused approach. Perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to learn about lighting products and effectively communicate their features and benefits. Basic math and computer skills. Have reliable transportation to and from work location. This position can be full-time / part-time with flexible weekday hours but must be willing to work Saturdays. Showroom is open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
