A Merchandising Manager manages the buying and stocking of goods to be re-sold to customers in a retail store, including clothing and other consumer products. Follows trends, anticipates consumer demand, directs buying and manages inventory; displays merchandise that will sell well at retail. Produces or monitors sales reports. May supervise a staff of buyers, in a larger retail store or department, or train and supervise retail sales staff.

Overview Essential Responsibilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Collaborate with buyers and vendors to curate a selection of merchandise that aligns with member preferences and trends Create attractive and engaging displays to strategically showcase products to enhance sales and drive growth Assist customers with finding the right products, providing recommendations, and offering support during sales transactions Comfortable working with POS systems and basic computer programs (Microsoft Excel, inventory systems, etc.) Passion for golf and knowledge of golf apparel and equipment highly desirable Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately through the POS system Assist with special orders, product inquiries, and member charge accounts Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment Receive, tag, and display merchandise in alignment with club merchandising standards Maintain proper inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed Assist with seasonal transitions, floor resets, promotions, and markdowns Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with periodic stock counts Work closely with the Head Golf Professional and Golf Operations team to achieve sales goals Answering the phone and booking lessons and rounds of golf Essential Responsibilities Ability to create flyers using Canva a
