If you have a passion for retail, merchandising, customer service, and the Harley-Davidson lifestyle, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a department that plays a major role in our dealership's customer experience and profitability. As Apparel Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and success of our apparel and merchandise department. You'll lead our apparel team, create an engaging shopping experience, manage inventory and merchandising, and help drive department sales and profitability. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and motivate the apparel sales team. Deliver an exceptional customer experience and lead by example on the sales floor. Drive apparel and merchandise sales while achieving department goals. Manage inventory levels, product assortment, receiving, replenishment, and inventory accuracy. Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities to maximize sales and minimize slow-moving inventory. Create attractive, organized, and seasonally appropriate merchandise displays. Maintain a clean, professional, and exciting retail environment. Assist customers with product selection, sizing, riding gear, gifts, and Harley-Davidson merchandise. Coordinate apparel promotions, dealership events, seasonal changes, and special sales initiatives. Work closely with dealership management, Sales, Parts & Accessories, Service, and Marketing teams. Monitor department performance, sales results, margins, and inventory turnover. Train team members on products, sales techniques, customer service, and Harley-Davidson brand standards. Help develop strategies to increase traffic, conversion, average transaction size, and repeat business. Handle customer concerns and returns professionally and efficiently. Maintain a strong knowledge of current Harley-Davidson apparel, riding gear, merchandise, and lifestyle products. What We're Looking For Previous retail management, specialty retail, or department management experience. Strong sales and customer-service skills. Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team. Excellent organizational and inventory-management skills. Comfortable working with sales reports, goals, margins, and other retail performance metrics. A strong eye for merchandising, presentation, and product placement. Ability to create a positive, energetic, team-oriented environment. Professional communication skills and a customer-first attitude. Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and dealership events. Harley-Davidson, motorcycle, powersports, automotive, or lifestyle-brand experience is a plus—but a strong retail management background is equally valuable. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who understands that apparel is more than putting shirts on racks. You know how to build a retail experience, develop a sales team, manage inventory, and turn merchandise into a profitable business. You're comfortable being on the sales floor, but you also understand the numbers behind the department. You can motivate a team, recognize what's selling, identify what's not, and take action. Most importantly, you enjoy working with people and understand the passion customers have for the Harley-Davidson brand. Why Join Steelhead Harley-Davidson? At Steelhead Harley-Davidson, you'll be part of a dealership where motorcycles, apparel, community, and customer experience come together. This is an opportunity to make your mark on an important part of our business while working in a unique and exciting retail environment. If you're a retail leader who loves people, merchandising, sales, and the Harley-Davidson lifestyle, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and tell us why you're the right person to lead the Steelhead Harley-Davidson Apparel Department.
