Event Manager Position Summary Yours On The Spot is seeking an organized, energetic, and customer-focused Event Manager to oversee our growing schedule of pop-up shops, on-site printing events, tournaments, trade shows, and community events. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing successful events while ensuring an exceptional customer experience and strong sales performance. When not attending events, the Event Manager will assist with retail merchandising, inventory management, and operational support within our retail store. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Event Management & Operations Coordinate and manage all aspects of pop-up shops, tournaments, festivals, trade shows, and on-site printing events. Create event timelines, staffing schedules, and setup plans. Transport, set up, operate, and tear down event equipment and displays. Lead event staff and ensure smooth event execution. Monitor event sales and inventory levels before, during, and after events. Serve as the primary point of contact for event organizers and customers. Troubleshoot issues and make real-time decisions to ensure successful events. Evaluate event performance and provide recommendations for improvement. Retail Store Merchandising Create attractive product displays and merchandise seasonal collections. Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly retail environment. Rotate inventory and refresh displays regularly. Assist with pricing, tagging, and promotional signage. Identify opportunities to improve product presentation and increase sales. Inventory Management Track inventory levels for apparel, promotional products, event supplies, and retail merchandise. Conduct regular inventory counts and audits. Coordinate restocking and purchasing recommendations. Ensure event inventory is prepared and accounted for before and after events. Maintain accurate inventory records and reporting. Customer Service & Sales Deliver exceptional customer service both in-store and at events. Assist customers with product selection and custom merchandise options. Support sales goals and help identify opportunities to increase revenue. Represent the Yours On The Spot brand in a professional and positive manner. Qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Retail, event management, merchandising, or inventory experience preferred. Comfortable working independently and making decisions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with loading and unloading event equipment. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel to events as needed. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Skills Experience with retail merchandising and visual displays. Inventory management experience. Event planning or coordination experience. Familiarity with apparel decoration, promotional products, or custom merchandise industry.
