Job Description

Job Responsibility
  • Manages key cross-functional and strategic projects for merchandising to deliver significant value for the company; works throughout the organization to define, deliver, and measure project results while providing project management and analytics to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved (50%)
  • Gathers and interprets information to identify key project elements including data related to planograms, fixtures, items, and labor, while recommending changes to optimize productivity, reduce costs, or minimize risks (20%)
  • Works with internal and external partners to drive timely issue resolution during rollout and implementation processes while maintaining weekly and monthly project status reporting to management (20%)
  • Travels for initiative projects as required during implementation to ensure vendor compliance, execution, and accuracy (10%) Job Qualifications
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, be detail-oriented, and operate as a self-starter
  • Ability to proactively anticipate problems and identify appropriate actions and solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to partner, coordinate, and delegate to all levels of management
  • Strong merchandising, space planning, supply chain, and retail knowledge with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with project management and reporting tools preferred Education/Experience Bachelor's degree required and/or a minimum of four or more years of project management experience across multiple projects, preferably within a retail or construction environment.
