Full Job Description Overview Join C&M Field Services and our dynamic team as a Back Counter Parts Specialist, where you'll be at the forefront of supporting the Shop and Field Divisions of the company. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Sales and Service teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless parts procurement, project support, job completion timelines and customer experience. Your expertise will drive efficiency in supply chain operations and enhance the overall C&M Field Services Team experience by providing accurate parts sourcing and knowledgeable support. Duties Support the Field Division and Shop Division by intake of parts requests for various projects both local and remote for multiple types of trucks, equipment and automotive fleets. Manage incoming parts orders through comprehensive order management systems, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Source On Highway Truck, Off Highway Equipment and Automotive parts and accessories from various suppliers, leveraging negotiation skills to optimize pricing and procurement terms. Maintain detailed parts administration records, including inventory levels, pricing updates, and demand planning data. Collaborate with internal teams on logistics inventory management from our 7000 sq ft parts warehouse, shipping & receiving, and warehouse operations to streamline parts flow. Utilize prior experience and knowledge to assist with parts identification and troubleshooting for dealership service needs. Support inventory control initiatives by data entry updates and parts sourcing adjustments. Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments via internal communication tools to coordinate procurement and resolve issues promptly. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in On-Highway Trucks, Off-Highway Equipment with some automotive Proven experience in supply chain management, supplier management, or automotive parts administration within a dealership or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of truck and equipment systems, OEM parts specifications, and automotive diagnostics tools. Familiarity with Dealer Parts Management systems such Flyntlok, Karmak, Sage and more. Hands-on warehouse experience including shipping & receiving, forklift operation certification, and simple equipment repair knowledge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes. Excellent negotiation skills combined with procurement management experience to secure favorable supplier agreements.
