Full Job Description Position Overview:
Courtesy CDJR is seeking a Parts Counterperson to join our team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories, maintaining accurate inventory records, processing transactions, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish. Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status. Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts. Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers. Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers. Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order. Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization. Bi-lingual a plus.
Qualifications:
2+ years of prior auto parts sales experience. Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment. Strong interpersonal and time management skills. Ability to calculate figures/amounts including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, area, circumference, and volume. Parts and automotive system knowledge skills. Strong organizational skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
