Position Summary We are seeking a customer-focused Parts and Service Advisor to support both our parts counter and service department. This dual role combines parts sales expertise with service advising — helping customers find the right parts, and guiding them through recommended service and repair work. We work on commercial trucks, box trucks, cement mixers, and a wide range of other heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. You don't need direct experience with these exact vehicle types to succeed here — many parts and service skills transfer well, and we're glad to train on the specifics. The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between parts sales and service advising, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes ownership of the customer experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Parts Sales
- Assist customers with parts inquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Sell parts and provide knowledgeable product recommendations
- Process customer orders accurately
- Visit customers off-site as needed to support sales and account relationships
- Utilize the Company's CRM as part of daily work Service Advising
- Greet service customers and write up service tickets
- Explain recommended repairs and maintenance clearly to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to keep service jobs moving efficiently
- Follow up with customers on service status and completion
- Support upselling of appropriate service work Customer Service & Systems
- Maintain accurate records in Cin7 and ShopMonkey
- Provide professional, timely communication across all customer interactions
- Work closely with the parts and service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience Warehouse Support
- Assist with receiving, verifying, and putting away incoming parts as needed
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Help keep the warehouse and parts area clean, organized, and safe
- Operate a forklift and assist with loading or unloading freight as needed Qualifications Required
- Strong customer service skills and comfort managing multiple priorities
- Comfortable working across both parts sales and service advising
- Basic computer skills; ability to learn Cin7 and ShopMonkey
- Reliable attendance and dependability Preferred
- Prior experience with Cin7, ShopMonkey, or similar systems
- Automotive, truck, or heavy equipment parts and service experience
- Background in a fast-paced parts counter or service department environment
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Physical Requirements & Safety
- Ability to stand, move, and engage with customers for extended periods
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs
