Automotive Parts Specialist Gunther Werks Huntington Beach, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Expense management Contamination control Scanning Driver's License Manual handling Full Job Description Gunther Werks is looking for an Automotive Parts Specialist who will oversee the inventory and procurement of automotive parts, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional tasks. Join us to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced automotive environment. Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following duties successfully: Ensure inventory meets production needs, manage parts inventory control, and prevent overstock Coordinate parts flow between teams to ensure efficient supply of parts products to meet production needs Plan and direct the parts supply operations to ensure accurate, efficient parts order processing to include phone/counter coverage and respond to client problems Contamination control - Creating a work environment that does not generate debris. Disposal of materials Controls expenses and service charges Communicate with vendors on parts and service ETA's Check and verify parts received Post parts invoice using complete Shop procedures the day the order arrives Scan all invoices and necessary documents into complete shop the day the order arrives Return parts and collect credits from vendor within 5 working day Responsible for repair order documentation Responsible for parts office and parts shelves to be clean and organized at all times Order body shop supplies (sand papers, fillers, sealers, etc.) Distribution of body shop materials to technicians Keep stock of fluids and make sure they are charged out on repair orders accordingly Attend production meetings Pull & add parts in/out of inventory Manage shop with shipping & receiving duties Run parts errands when required Manage overall shop cleanliness for shows & events Job Requirements Must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check inclusive of drug screening Must have a valid driver's license Reasonable accommodations may be made to ensure individuals with disabilities are able to perform the essential functions. Physical Demands Must be able to stand for long periods of time and must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl frequently. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
