Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice based on vehicle systems and repair needs Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and parts ordering using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and other inventory management tools Process sales transactions accurately through point-of-sale (POS) systems while handling cash and credit card payments with professionalism Collaborate with service technicians and dealership staff to ensure timely order fulfillment and vehicle maintenance support Maintain organized stock shelves, ensure proper stocking procedures, and conduct regular inventory audits to prevent shortages or overstocking Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, product knowledge, and personalized service to encourage repeat business Support automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting efforts by providing mechanical knowledge and technical assistance when needed Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems along with automotive repair processes Proficiency in inventory management software (CMMS), Microsoft Office Suite, and POS systems for efficient operations Strong negotiation skills to upsell products and resolve customer concerns positively Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities to serve diverse clientele effectively Mechanical troubleshooting expertise combined with automotive diagnostics experience to assist with vehicle maintenance queries Proven ability in retail sales environments with a focus on automotive parts sales and customer service excellence Organizational skills for stocking, order fulfillment, inventory control, and maintaining a clean work environment Cash handling experience along with retail math skills for accurate transaction processing Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating strong phone etiquette and client communication skills Join us as a Parts Advisor where your mechanical expertise meets exceptional customer service!
