Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse/Parts Counter Associate to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the frontline contact for customers and technicians seeking marine parts and accessories. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Assist customers in locating and selecting diesel parts and accessories, providing expert advice on product features and compatibility Manage inventory levels through accurate stock control, replenishing shelves and updating stock records regularly using inventory management systems Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit, or electronic payments with accuracy Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely order fulfillment for m/v repairs and maintenance jobs Maintain a clean, organized parts department by stocking shelves, labeling items clearly, and ensuring safety standards are met Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, understanding client needs, and offering tailored solutions Support marketing efforts by promoting new products or special offers to customers in person or via phone Skills Extensive knowledge of marine parts, accessories, and vehicle systems for accurate troubleshooting and recommendations Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment within an automotive or retail environment Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) to serve diverse customer bases effectively Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel for data tracking and reporting Familiarity with dealership operations, retail math, cashiering procedures, and POS systems Ability to negotiate with customers or suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining professionalism Knowledge of marine repair processes and dealership experience is highly desirable Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships through attentive support and clear communicationJoin us in delivering top-tier service while advancing your career in the marine parts industry! Pay:
$22.76 - $27.41 per hour
