Pompano Beach, FL Job Details Full-time $21 - $25 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Bilingual Customer returns handling Moving High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Organizational skills Electronics sales Full Job Description Job Purpose The Purchasing & Operations Support position is responsible for assisting with the purchase and intake of used marine electronics from individuals, organizing and handling incoming inventory, and supporting the daily operations of Max Marine Electronics. This position also provides front-office and customer service support and will eventually assist with basic equipment testing as training and product knowledge develop. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist Sales Director with purchasing incoming used marine electronics and equipment from individuals for parts, repair, refurbishment, and resale. Greet and assist individuals bringing equipment to MME and collect necessary customer and equipment information. Load and unload equipment and inventory from customer vehicles and incoming deliveries. Receive, sort, pull, store, and organize inventory in the warehouse as needed. Learn marine electronics products, manufacturers, model numbers, and equipment types. After appropriate training, assist with basic inspection and testing of marine electronics equipment. Answer and direct incoming sales, customer service, and technical support calls. Assist customers with pickups, purchases, returns, replacements, and warranty-related matters. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional customer reception area. Assist with photographing and listing equipment on the company website and other online sales platforms. Assist with social media content and other company projects as assigned. Perform other duties as necessary to support company operations. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Customer service experience required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional phone demeanor and good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple tasks and changing priorities. Comfortable learning and using technology and company software. Working knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe software. Familiarity with marine electronics, electronics, and boating preferred. Bilingual communication skills preferred. Working Conditions This position requires work in both office and warehouse environments. The employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods and regularly move between the front office, warehouse, shipping, and receiving areas. The position requires working at a fast pace, managing multiple responsibilities, and interacting professionally with customers and employees throughout the company. Physical Requirements This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading of marine electronics and inventory. The employee must be able to safely move equipment and packages of varying sizes. Equipment or packages weighing up to approximately 70 lbs.
