Job Description
Westshore Mazda - Member of Morgan Auto Group - is looking to add a Parts Advisor to our team! We offer our associates great benefits and ongoing training and support. RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide fast and courteous service to technicians, retail, and wholesale customers. List and price out parts on repair orders and or counter tickets. Write purchase orders for parts and sublet work as needed from outside suppliers and obtain management approval. List and price out all sublet repair work on repair orders. Properly input loss and sales into the inventory control system. Maintain records of all special-order parts and notify the person who authorized the order of receipt. Maintain a customer backorder file. Maintain the special-order parts inventory in a clean and orderly manner. Make sure technicians turn in all defective parts necessary for warranty scrap and tag them appropriately. Help "scrap" parts held for factory claims with the factory representative. Maintain the warranty return parts inventory in a clean and organized manner. Participate in conducting a perpetual inventory. Help maintain parts catalogs, price schedules, and other technical information and bulletins. Keep work area clean, free of debris, safe and put away loose stock. Proficient in the use of parts catalogs and locations of correct.QUALIFICATIONS
