Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Body Parts Coordinator to join our team! In this vital role, you will oversee the procurement, management, and distribution of auto body parts and accessories, ensuring seamless operations across our supply chain. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, inventory control, and supplier management will drive efficiency and customer satisfaction. You'll coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics providers to maintain optimal parts availability, manage sourcing strategies, and support auto body repair operations. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels of auto body parts and accessories using inventory management systems and ERP platforms to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment Coordinate with suppliers to source parts efficiently, negotiate pricing, and establish strong vendor relationships for reliable supply chain operations Oversee parts procurement processes including purchase order creation, tracking, and order management through systems like AS400 or other order management tools Maintain detailed parts administration records, including data entry for incoming shipments, inventory adjustments, and parts sourcing documentation Collaborate with auto body repair teams to identify parts requirements based on vehicle diagnostics and repair schedules Conduct regular warehouse inspections to ensure proper storage conditions, safety compliance, and equipment repair needs are addressed Support logistics activities such as shipping & receiving, warehouse management, and transportation coordination to optimize delivery timelines Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist in identifying suitable parts for specific vehicle systems and OEM standards Implement demand planning strategies based on customer service needs, sales forecasts, and historical data to prevent stock shortages or overstock situations Use internal communication channels effectively to coordinate with procurement teams, sales staff, and external vendors for smooth operations Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive industry or manufacturing environment Strong supplier management experience with negotiation skills to secure favorable terms Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, OEM parts standards, and auto body repair processes Hands-on warehouse management experience including shipping & receiving procedures and equipment repair (forklift certification preferred) Familiarity with Parts Trader Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for data entry and reporting tasks Mechanical knowledge related to automotive parts and accessories is highly desirable Excellent internal communication skills for coordinating across departments and vendors Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as an Auto Body Parts Coordinator where your expertise will keep our operations running smoothly!
