PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To provide our customers with superior service by utilizing your knowledge and experience to help answer questions, trouble-shoot problems, and provide solutions to those customers and their needs. SUMMARY As a member of Action Truck Parts, Parts Counter Representatives are responsible for selling parts over-the-counter, over-the-phone, and occasionally, on-line, to our customers and doing so with the highest level of customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting customers in selecting and purchasing the correct parts. Providing pricing and product information to customers. Assisting with inventory validation. Contributing to departmental production and profitability goals. Maintaining customer satisfaction at or above company standards. Answering telephones promptly and professionally. Ability to apply common sense when needed, while staying within Action guidelines. Work cohesively and efficiently with the Team. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license with good driving record Some heavy lifting required Promotes and maintains a positive, team oriented, and customer focused attitude within department Must be able to demonstrates positive resourcefulness & versatility in a fast-paced, changing priority, environment

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Strong customer service skills 3-5 years of truck parts experience strongly preferred Aftermarket experience preferred
