Job Description
Job Summary :
The Production Support/BOM Creation position responsibility of entering new orders, auditing current orders, closing finished products and talking to vendors about availability of parts. This position also will be responsible anything the DOO or Controller assigns.- Pay will be based off of experience.
Position Objectives :
- Perfect all sales orders including creating SPO for complete MO and all customer color selections are completed.
- Identify all SPO parts to create complete TWR products and TWR BOM in fishbowl working with Sales Rep to ensure form/function and within budget and Director of Operations to ensure easy installation, identify beneficial accessory parts/installation kits, ability to service after the sale and meets durability standards. Seeking input from DOO and Engineering
- Identify possible vendors for SPO parts to purchasing for sourcing.
- Provide detailed SPO parts information/description to purchasing for sourcing.
- Test issue all Sales orders to ensure all products listed on the SO flow through to the MO with complete BOMS
- Provide complete MO to purchasing once complete and in a timely manner to ensure all parts are ordered and arrive within vendor lead time.
- Identify new parts/components and new vendors that might be beneficial to TWR that will strengthen the TWR brand by building better vehicles that are user friendly, serviceable after the sale, competitive, and provide TWR with the best possible component warranty.
- Work with vendors to obtain all supporting documents, like installation manuals, instructions, wire schematic, component prints, exploded views and relevant documents to ensure TWR production staff have the information needed for a correct installation.
- Work with vendors, DOO and engineering to create SOP for production.
- Talk to customers when needed/requested by customer support to provide technical instructions, functional and diagnostic procedures.
- Close MO lines daily/weekly as units progress, accurately capturing man hours and exact components consumed compared to BOM.
- Work with production staff as requested by DOO to provide vendor technical support, phone calls and research to ensure proper installation.
