THE OPPORTUNITY

The Spare Parts Inventory Manager manages critical technical data necessary for replacement parts in the CMMS (BMA) system, as well as SAP. Manufacturing operational efficiency is optimized and machine downtime reduced through accurate parts inventories, while ensuring optimum quality of the data relating to all replacement parts.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Process forms for Inventory Modification Requests from Customers. (Data entry, Data validation, challenge requests as appropriate)
  • Identify / Create Michelin Global part numbers via Manufacturer and Technical references to assure global continuity. (Standardize / document procedures and ensure compliance).
  • Ensure Quality of Part Data

•Review part numbers and correct as needed (calibrate physical parts with all online data relating to those parts).

Manage Technical Aspects of Obsolete parts (work with end user to find viable replacement)

Analyze stocked items for opportunities to streamline and control stored inventory value.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Attention to detail is critical

Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Word / Outlook / Teams.

Good overall working knowledge of computers.

SQL knowledge is a plus

Power BI and/or Power Automate knowledge is a plus

Mechanical Part knowledge is a plus

Mechanical Drawing knowledge is a plus

Technical or Computer degree is a plus

Manufacturing Technical experience is a plus #LI-RM1 #
