Responsibilities Manage automotive parts inventory using advanced inventory management systems and ERP platforms, ensuring accurate data entry and stock levels. Source and procure OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and accessories through effective sourcing strategies and negotiation skills. Coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal supply chain flow, monitor delivery schedules, and manage shipping & receiving processes. Support parts administration by processing purchase orders, updating order management systems, and maintaining detailed procurement records. Assist in warehouse management tasks including inventory control, parts organization, and equipment repair logistics. Collaborate with internal teams on demand planning, pricing adjustments, and logistics inventory management to meet operational needs. Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to identify parts requirements for vehicle repairs and support automotive service teams. Maintain excellent internal communication with sales, customer service, and automotive repair departments to ensure smooth operations. Operate forklifts safely when handling heavy or bulk inventory items within warehouse environments. Use software tools such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), AS400, Microsoft Office Suite, and inventory management systems for efficient parts sourcing and documentation. Experience Proven experience in supply chain management within an automotive or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated supplier management experience with a focus on procurement management and negotiation skills. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, vehicle components, and accessories. Hands-on experience with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and logistics inventory management. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools, OEM parts sourcing, and auto body repair processes is highly desirable. Experience working with ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms for order processing and data entry. Knowledge of automotive parts administration combined with excellent customer service skills to support internal teams and external clients effectively. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, communication, and documentation purposes.
