Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and dependable Parts Counter Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our maintenance operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with multiple people throughout the day, and making sure critical parts get where they need to be on time . Key Responsibilities Order parts needed for scheduled maintenance and repairs Receive, verify, and process incoming parts and orders Coordinate time-sensitive and critical parts with suppliers and customers Track outstanding orders, backorders, and expected delivery times Follow up with vendors to ensure critical parts arrive as quickly as possible Maintain an organized and efficient parts counter and inventory area Communicate effectively with mechanics, drivers, suppliers, and customers Help mechanics identify and obtain the correct parts needed to complete repairs Keep everyone informed when parts availability or delivery times could affect a repair Maintain accurate parts and purchasing records What We're Looking For The right person will have: Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication and people skills Ability to prioritize multiple requests and recognize what is time-sensitive or critical A positive, team-oriented attitude Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and take initiative Dependability and punctuality Motivation to learn and grow with the company Automotive, truck, equipment, or parts experience is a plus The Person We Want We're looking for someone who doesn't just wait to be told what to do. We need a motivated problem-solver who understands that getting the correct part into a mechanic's hands quickly can make the difference between keeping a truck moving and having it sitting down.
