Parts Counter Person Reports to :Parts Department Manager Job Classification:
Full Time Work Schedule:
Dealership Hours are 7:30 am-5:30 pm- Monday-Friday and 8:00 am- Noon on Saturday. Position is scheduled 40-48 hours per week, or as dealership volume and needs dictate.Scope of departmental work:
Estimate and sell partsCompensation:
$45,000 - $75,000 annuallyResponsibilities:
- Shipping and receiving of parts
- Accurate estimation of parts for technicians and customers
- Ability to navigate parts catalogue
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems
- Responsible for proper inventory controls
- Work directly with used car technicians to accurately look up and procure parts quickly to repair vehicles
- Work with other dealership parts departments to order parts and facilitate deliveries
Requirements:
- 1+ year minimum of parts experience
