Parts Specialist (Full-Time) Our parts department is currently seeking a full-time Parts Specialist for our branch. We provide our employees with the following tools and resources to be successful: Training Outstanding benefits package (Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, plus much more!) 401(k) with match Competitive wages Paid time off paid holidays Salary range of $18/hr-$28/hr based on experience Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Selling & Providing excellent customer service and support to customers Assists customers and/or technicians with locating and providing the correct part(s) Entering and processing parts orders Ensure all paperwork related to deliveries are complete and correct Shipping and receiving parts shipments, Check order accuracy before each delivery Stocking and organizing the parts department Check in, unpack and put away parts Sourcing and ordering parts as needed Managing the internal parts window for technicians and staff Maintain department order and cleanliness Assist in physical inventory counts Maintaining consistent, reliable attendance, including being ready to work at the designated start time Performing other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Experience & Education 12 years of previous parts and/or inventory control experience IE. auto or truck parts counter experience is preferred High school diploma or GED Technical & Mechanical Skills Basic mechanical understanding, including the ability to visually identify and name parts of industry-related equipment Familiarity with equipment such as step ladders, foot stools, pallet movers, and hand trucks Computer & Software Proficiency Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with vendor web portals and inventory/order processing software Communication & Professionalism Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Proper phone etiquette required Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings with customers, clients, and team members Language Skills Basic Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write basic correspondence Mathematical Skills Basic Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s Comfortable working with units of American currency, weight, volume, and distance Reasoning Ability Intermediate Ability to apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions Capable of resolving problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations

Work Environment:
Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions and vibration

Full Time Monday-Friday 7:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Plus overtime when needed
