NAPA Parts Counter Specialist - Monroe, MI Position Overview The NAPA Auto Parts store in Monroe, MI is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Specialist with strong technical knowledge in automotive, small truck, semi‑truck, and trailer parts . Looking for someone that can arrive with the skills and experience needed to perform from day one. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Support — Assist retail and commercial customers by identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles. Technical Parts Assistance — Use your existing automotive and truck parts knowledge to provide accurate recommendations. Order Processing — Handle parts lookups, inventory checks, special orders, and returns using computer-based systems. Store Operations — Maintain a clean, organized workspace and support daily store tasks. Communication & Coordination — Work with customers, drivers, and team members to ensure timely service and accurate information. Required Qualifications Technical knowledge of automotive, truck, semi‑truck, and trailer parts Mechanical aptitude to understand part function and fitment Computer literacy for catalog systems, inventory software, and POS Strong communication skills with a courteous, professional demeanor Organizational and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment Time management skills to prioritize customer needs and store tasks Professional appearance and strong work ethic Valid driver's license (required) Preferred Experience Prior work at a parts counter , dealership, repair shop, or truck service center Hands-on mechanical or repair background Familiarity with NAPA catalog systems or similar platforms Compensation & Benefits Pay is based on experience and reflects your technical skill level.
