As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Consultant to join our team. Job Overview As a Parts Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for customers needing replacement parts, accessories, and maintenance items. You'll assist customers in identifying the correct parts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support the service department by ensuring technicians have the parts they need to complete repairs efficiently. When service customers arrive, you'll also be responsible for initiating service work orders and gathering the necessary information before handing the repair process off to the Service Department. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts and accessories Research parts using manufacturer catalogs and electronic lookup systems Process retail, phone, and online parts inquiries Receive, stock, organize, and maintain parts inventory Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records Order parts from vendors and monitor backorders Work closely with service technicians to ensure parts availability Keep the parts showroom and warehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked Start service work orders by gathering customer and equipment information and documenting concerns accurately Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Previous experience in a parts department, retail sales, automotive, powersports, marine, agricultural, or outdoor power equipment industry preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple product lines Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Comfortable using computers and parts lookup software Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds High school diploma or equivalent Lightspeed EVO experience is a plus Benefits Competitive hourly pay 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance Employee discounts Paid training and opportunities for advancement A family-oriented, team-focused work environment Opportunity to work with industry-leading outdoor power equipment brands
