Your proactive approach and in-depth knowledge of vehicle systems will ensure customers leave with the right solutions for their automotive needs. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting auto parts and accessories that meet their vehicle requirements, providing expert advice on automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair options. Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and ensuring the availability of popular parts using inventory management systems like CMMS and POS platforms. Process sales transactions accurately through cash handling, cashiering, and POS systems while maintaining excellent phone etiquette during customer inquiries. Collaborate with the service team to support automotive repair and automotive service operations by fulfilling orders promptly and efficiently. Maintain organized stockrooms and display areas, ensuring proper stocking procedures and adherence to safety standards. Utilize strong communication skills to explain product features, warranty details, and promotional offers to diverse customers, including bilingual clients. Support marketing initiatives by promoting special deals or new product launches to enhance retail sales performance. Experience Proven experience in retail sales within an automotive dealership or auto parts store environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive repair concepts is advantageous. Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management software such as CMMS or Microsoft Excel to track stock levels and order fulfillment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy retail setting. Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities (e.g., English/Spanish), are a plus for serving a diverse customer base. Previous experience with dealership operations or automotive service departments will be considered a strong asset.
