Parts Specialist Pay:
Competitive - Based on Experience Wise Staffing Group is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Parts Specialist for an opportunity in the St. Louis area. We are looking for someone who is organized, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with inventory and computer systems, and able to identify and locate parts accurately. Experience with automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical parts is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
Identify, locate, pull, and distribute parts for technicians and other departments Receive incoming parts and verify quantities and accuracy Stock and organize parts, supplies, and inventory Maintain accurate inventory records within the computer system Research part numbers, descriptions, and availability Assist with ordering and replenishing parts and supplies Process parts requests, work orders, and purchase orders Perform regular inventory counts and help resolve discrepancies Communicate with technicians, vendors, customers, and internal departments Maintain an organized and efficient parts room or warehouse Assist with shipping and receiving as needed Follow company safety and inventory-control procedures
Qualifications:
Previous parts, inventory, warehouse, automotive, diesel, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred Strong knowledge of parts and mechanical components is a plus Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems Ability to identify and match part numbers accurately Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Good communication and customer-service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Forklift or material-handling experience is a plus Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic We're Looking for
